General terms of enrolment and sale
Version 1.0 · in force since 29 August 2026
1. Purpose and scope
These terms govern enrolments on the continuing professional education
courses delivered by PRIMA LAB ACADEMY.
Any enrolment, individual or institutional, implies unreserved acceptance
of these terms, together with the training rules of procedure and the
conditions of validation and certification, to which they refer.
2. What is offered
The Academy offers two forms of subscription.
The workshop is a self-contained course, of its own duration, leading
to a training certificate.
The pathway is an ordered sequence of workshops, designed as a whole,
leading to a certificate of qualification once its conditions are met.
The catalogue is permanent; scheduling is intermittent. A course with no
open session is not withdrawn from the catalogue: it remains visible, and
visitors may register their interest. Sessions are opened according to the
requests received.
3. Registering interest
Pre-registering online is an expression of interest. It is not a definitive
enrolment, it does not reserve a place, and it does not commit you to
payment.
It allows the Academy to measure demand and open sessions accordingly. The
person who has registered their interest is informed by e-mail when a
session opens, in the order of their request.
4. Prices
Prices are stated in CFA francs (XAF), net of tax.
Each workshop carries its own price. Each pathway carries its own, lower
than the sum of the prices of the workshops it contains; the saving is
shown on the pathway's page.
A student rate is granted on presentation of a valid student card or
certificate of enrolment. The evidence is filed with the application and
checked; failing that, the professional rate applies.
The price includes delivery of the course, teaching materials, consumables
for practical work and the certificates issued. It includes neither travel,
nor accommodation, nor meals, unless the session page states otherwise.
The prices displayed are those in force on the day of enrolment. A session
may carry its own price, shown on its page.
5. Enrolment
Enrolment takes place in two stages.
First stage, online. The candidate fills in a short form. They
immediately receive an e-mail with a link to activate their personal area.
Second stage, in the personal area. The candidate uploads the
supporting documents requested. These vary according to the course and the
price band; the exact list is shown in their personal area.
The Academy examines each document. A document that is refused is refused
with an explicit reason, and can be uploaded again without redoing the rest
of the application.
**Enrolment is secured on the twofold condition that the supporting
documents have been approved and that the first payment has been
received.** Places are allocated in the order in which those two conditions
are met, not in the order of pre-registrations.
The number of places is limited, generally to between fifteen and twenty
participants. When a session is full, the candidate may join the waiting
list; the first place to become free is offered to them first, with a
deadline for replying.
6. Payment
The Academy takes no payment online. Payment is made by the means shown
in the participant's personal area once their application has been
approved: cash at the office, Mobile Money, or bank transfer.
The participant then uploads their proof of payment to their personal area.
Payment is confirmed after checking by the administration, within
forty-eight working hours.
Payment in instalments may be granted for pathways. The schedule is set
at enrolment and appears in the personal area. The place is confirmed as
soon as the first instalment is received; the remaining instalments fall
due on the agreed dates.
The participant quotes their name and enrolment number as the reference for
each payment.
7. Cancellation
7.1 By the participant
Any cancellation is notified in writing to contact@primaacademy.org.
| Notice received | Consequence |
|---|---|
| more than :delai_plein days before the start | full refund |
| between :delai_plein and :delai_partiel days | :retenue withheld for costs incurred |
| fewer than :delai_partiel days, or after the start | no refund |
A participant who is prevented from attending may, instead of cancelling,
ask to defer their enrolment to a later session of the same course.
This deferral is granted once, free of charge, if requested before the
session begins.
7.2 By the Academy
The Academy may cancel a session with insufficient numbers. The courses
involve a great deal of practical work in small groups: below a minimum
headcount the teaching quality is not achieved, and the Academy would
rather postpone than fall short.
In that case, enrolled participants are told at the latest :prevenance
before the planned date. They are given the reason. They choose between
deferral to a later session and a full refund of the sums paid, with
nothing withheld and no further compensation.
The same applies to cancellation for any other cause attributable to the
Academy.
7.3 Transfer
An enrolment may be transferred to another person before the session
begins, provided that person meets the conditions of access to the course
and submits their own supporting documents. The transfer is notified in
writing and confirmed by the Academy.
8. Absence, lateness, withdrawal
A participant absent without prior cancellation remains liable for the full
price.
Repeated lateness and absences reduce the effective training time and may
prevent the workshop from being validated, under the conditions set out in
the conditions of validation and certification.
Withdrawing part-way through a pathway gives no right to a refund of the
workshops already held. Workshops already validated remain so, and the
corresponding certificates remain acquired.
9. Institutional offers
Courses commissioned by a laboratory, a hospital, a school or any other
institution are the subject of a quotation, issued within seventy-two hours
of the request.
The quotation sets out the programme, the dates, the venue, the number of
participants and the cost. It binds the parties once accepted in writing.
These terms apply to it for anything the quotation does not expressly
provide for.
Requesting a quotation does not bind the institution that requests it.
10. The Academy's obligations
The Academy undertakes to deliver the course as described, with the
teaching resources and staff announced, and to issue the documents provided
for to participants who meet the conditions.
It is bound by an obligation of means. Validating a workshop and
obtaining a certificate depend on each person's participation and results.
11. Intellectual property
The teaching materials given to participants are protected. They are for
their personal use in the course of their professional activity.
Reproducing them, distributing them or using them for training purposes by
a third party requires the Academy's prior written agreement.
12. Personal data
The processing of participants' data is described in the privacy policy,
available at https://primaacademy.org/fr/confidentialite.
13. Complaints and disputes
Any complaint is sent in writing to contact@primaacademy.org. The Academy
acknowledges receipt and replies within a reasonable time.
