Training where the work actually happens

PRIMA LAB ACADEMY is a legally independent continuing professional education provider, specialised in the careers of the medical analysis laboratory. Our training is hands-on, specialised, and shaped by the realities of the laboratory in Africa. Our trainers are practising professionals. Their expertise comes from the field — they teach the procedures they perform.

Our method

Practice first

More than half the time is spent performing the procedure, in small groups of 15 to 20 participants. A workshop is not validated on a questionnaire alone: assessment in real conditions counts.

Pathways, not isolated courses

Our workshops follow a deliberate order. A validated workshop earns a certificate of attendance; a complete pathway earns a qualification certificate, with a number anyone can verify publicly.

Scheduled by demand

We open sessions according to the interest registered. No course is hidden for want of a date: it is simply waiting for enough people to ask for it.

Our trainers

Medical biologists, senior technologists, quality managers and laboratory executives, all still in practice. Each one teaches within their own field of work, not from a generic syllabus. Individual profiles will be published once each trainer has agreed to it.

What our training does — and does not do

It strengthens skills and employability. It is not an automatic promise of recruitment, with us or anywhere else. We would rather say so here than let you find out later.
