Workshop objectives

To train participants to understand and use the digital or virtual collection room, so as to secure patient identification, the traceability of the collection, the handling of deferred collections, the recording of data and the prevention of non-conformities in the digital era.

1 Day 1 Understanding and using the digital collection room

Understand the difference between a manual collection room and a digital or virtual one, learn to use the essential functions of the laboratory information system at the collection station, secure identification and traceability, handle deferred collections, and prevent non-conformities in the digital era.

2 Day 2 Practical workshops and digital simulations

Allow participants to operate or simulate the main functions of a digital collection room, secure identification and traceability, handle deferred collections, record the data that matters, and prevent non-conformities arising from the use of the laboratory information system.

No formal lecture is scheduled during this day. Participants are divided into small groups of three or four so that everyone takes an active part.
