Traceability in the laboratory
To enable participants to master the documentation and traceability of their daily activities, from processing an analysis file to filing and archiving the evidence, in support of process management, audits and the accreditation process.
Every activity must leave reliable, accessible and usable evidence. QA2 teaches how to organise that evidence for process management, internal and external audits and the accreditation process.
- identify the data and evidence produced in the laboratory
- complete traceability documents and tools accurately
- reconstruct the complete audit trail of an analysis file
- correct an error without erasing the original data
- file and archive paper and electronic documents
- quickly retrieve a piece of evidence requested during an audit
- check that technical and quality records are complete
- use recorded data to manage and improve the process
- draw up an audit preparation checklist
