Workshop objectives

A deeper look at quality, documentation, patient identification safety, traceability, prevention of pre-analytical errors and incident handling. Participants learn to work with quality documents and to take responsibility for their practice. Day 3: practical work only.

1 Day 1 Understanding quality requirements and documentation at collection

Understand that the collection station is a critical point in the pre-analytical process, identify the quality requirements that apply to it, and master the fundamentals of documentation and data recording at collection.

2 Day 2 Safety, incidents, patient identification and the collector’s responsibility

Strengthen safety reflexes at the collection station, prevent incidents, master the principles of patient identification safety, and bring the collector to understand their professional responsibility from day to day.
