Quality at the heart of the bench
To enable laboratory technicians to apply the requirements for quality, control, traceability and securing results to the main analytical benches, in line with procedures, their authorisation level and the biologist’s responsibilities.
The pathway’s hands-on integration workshop, QA7 carries the requirements for quality, control and traceability over to the main analytical benches.
- identify the critical points specific to each bench
- prepare and check the workstation before starting analyses
- check equipment, reagents and consumables
- respect specimen processing and storage conditions
- check the technical validity of an analytical run
- recognise alarms, interferences and technically questionable results
- carry out the checks authorised by the procedures
- ensure traceability and report anomalies
- prepare a technically reliable file before passing it on to the biologist
- transfer good quality reflexes from one bench to another
